Moderate exercise 30 minutes a day every week will do the job!! The Eastern Physical Activity Co-ordination Group (EPACG) is a multi-agency group within the EHSSB whose main aim is to increase levels of health-related physical activity, particularly among those who exercise least. Regular moderate physical activity is known to improve our mental and physical wellbeing - in fact 23 seperate physiological and psychological benefits can be gained.Physical activity can reduce risks to your health in many areas including heart disease, hypertension, osteoporosis, and late onset diabetes. Your mental health will also improve!
